About this Artwork…

Volo Ink Drawing by Massimo Cravich

This work could easily be titled “Sogno” (Dream), and I’ve occasionally exhibited it under that name. It’s actually the transposition of a bizarre dream in which I was lifted into the air by cats (which I adore), but “evil” cats. In fact, it was more of a nightmare than a dream. Even for this work, I only have one Polaroid-type photo left; the entire archive was lost in the 2007 move.

From the original work, 17 silkscreen prints were created on a background prepared with layers of white color, with different backgrounds for each copy. This edition was a great success; all available copies were sold during the first two exhibitions, back in the 1990s.
