About this Artwork…

LHC: Large Hadron Collider

The idea for this drawing came to me when CERN in Geneva was preparing to conduct research on the Higgs boson, with a debate developing over the possibility that the experiment could generate a black hole. At that point, the tone of the controversy reached absurd levels, with anyone without any qualifications pontificating on the subject, and the less knowledgeable they had, the more sensational and peremptory their arguments became. That’s why I drew this drawing of the scientist crucified by monkeys.
