Inspired by Leopardi’s poem of the same name, it is a pen drawing owned by a private collection.
Every now and then I give free rein to my pessimistic side, and this is one example. Giacomo Leopardi’s poetry is just the starting point for a broader reflection on the human condition.
The original drawing was actually created using a fine marker, not India ink. The original belongs to a private collector.
