About the Artworks…

I like to imagine this unusual format design as a derivation of the “Mechanisms” series, in which the “totem builders” are engaged in mining. A line that I intend to resume, I like the idea of this sort of ants that I imagine are dedicated to digging tunnels in the walls around us.

Sometimes I enjoy drawing in these strange formats, imagining them, once hung, as if they were tunnels that my characters are digging into the walls. I have a whole universe in my head about them; I talk about it elsewhere on this site. Remember to watch the short video at the bottom of this page for an exploration of the well!
