During the years of the academy of fine arts, but already before, I had made dozens of canvases that had as a common feature the environments marked by the degradation of time and by the trace, but not by the presence of human beings. Sometimes empty interiors, or exteriors with openings. This particular canvas was made on the construction site of an old house of mine
