Black Surgery 2 Giclee Print

Variations obtained with digital interpolations in a photo-editing program by manipulating high-resolution scans of my original ink drawings (primarily Surgical Reliquary 1). Series of four pieces of identical dimensions.

This series of prints is an offshoot of the “Surgical Reliquaries” series, with which I explored the possibilities of manipulation and limited color intervention. I was interested in exploring and enhancing the organic component of the original drawing while also allowing a glimpse of the mechanical context in which it is immersed.

I created several variants, later narrowed down to four in total. Two of them (Black Surgery 1 and Black Surgery 2) were originally intended for a limited run of 13 pieces, and are now sold out.
